McCrea 1971

While the spirit of Woodstock ‘69 evokes peace, love, and music, popular memory of the “Celebration of Life” festival conjures mud, mosquitos, and death.

McCrea 1971 (2014) presents the story of Louisiana's forgotten rock festival. Directed by Nicholas Brilleaux and Scott Caro, the half-hour-long documentary features long-lost film footage in additional to an original soundtrack by Louisiana-based artists.
